Answer: Solid papilary carcinoma
Histology:
Discussion: Solid papillary carcinoma is a rare tumor that occurs mainly in elderly women. It is characterized by a proliferation of low grade monotonous atypical cells (plasmacytoid or spindle) involving large ducts, intracellular mucin production and neuroendocrine differentiation. The lesion itself is considered by most as a type of low grade DCIS. However in half of the case it can be associated with invasive carcinoma, usually of mucinous type. This tumor has an excellent prognosis especially when it is not associated with invasion
