Visualizing the morphology of memory

The hippocampus is a small but complex structure in the brain which plays a critical role in the formation of new memories. It is also associated with learning and emotions, and contains some of the “stem cells” present in the adult brain.

Master’s student Alisa Brandt and neuropathology faculty member Dr. David Nauen worked together to generate an interactive teaching resource for visualizing hippocampal structure. A link to this is found below.
