Answer: Myxoid liposarcoma

Discussion: The tumor is characterized by a myxoid background and delicate vascular pattern (seen focally). The cells are not very pleomorphic and some contain clear vacuoles pushing the nucleus to the periphery. These features are characteristic of myxoid liposarcoma. The tumor is more cellular than a regular myxoid liposarcoma and has a significant round cell component. Myxoid/ round cell liposarcoma is characterized by t (12; 16) (q13:p11) translocation in up to 95% of the cases.
