Answer: Invasive micropapillary carcinoma of the breast

Discussion: Invasive micropapillary carcinoma of the breast is a very aggressive type of breast cancer. These tumors are very lymphotropic and lymph node metastases are common even in cases of small tumor (as is the case with this patient) or in cases where the invasive micropapillary pattern is focal. This morphology is seen in primary tumors of other organs where it displays an aggressive behavior as well.
