Histology: Numerous hyphael forms are seen. They are septate and branching. In addition, beautiful fruiting bodies are seen.
Discussion: The name Aspergillosis is derived from the word “aspergillum.” An aspergillum is the brush used to sprinkle holy water. One can immediately see the resemblance of the fruity body of Aspergillosis with an aspergillum.
