About Matt Dellek
In the Fall of 2008, a remarkable young man named Matt Dallek will go on a 60-mile bike ride through the civil war battlefields of Maryland to raise money for pancreatic cancer research at Johns Hopkins. Matt is wonderful, thoughtful and brave. You can learn more about remarkable story by reading the e-mail Matt sent out announcing his ride.
Matt’s efforts have already had a wonderful impact! Matt has already raised enough money to support a new graduate student at Johns Hopkins and to support a novel “gene chip” experiment. The new graduate student supported by Matt, Melek Erdinc, plans to dedicate her career to pancreatic cancer research.
The new gene chip work will be conducted by Drs. Maitra and Eshelman at Johns Hopkins (show below).
